The Ottawa International Film Festival (OIFF) is the first film festival of its kind in the Nation’s Capital. OIFF focuses on independent filmmaking and promoting local and Canadian talent.

OIFF was founded in 2010 and in its inaugural year, was able to bring together, local, national and international filmmakers with film enthusiasts for a weekend of screenings. Over 30 Canadian and international feature length, short and documentary films were screened. The Festival generated a great deal of attention from the community and was voted Best Film Festival of 2010 by Ottawa Xpress readers!

The 2nd Annual OIFF will take place from August 17-21 2011 and will showcase a variety of Canadian and international films and will include the popular music-video challenge and an evening with Hollywood producer Aaron Ryder.

Join us this August at the Empire World Exchange Cinemas and Babylon Nightclub and help us put Ottawa on the map as a centre for artistic talent!
