Ottawa, Ontario (Canada) – Freedom Fight Productions returns to the national capital region with its popular MMA brand and the extreme aggression that fans have come to expect. The live action is set to take place on Saturday, July 26th, 2008 at the Robert Guertin Arena – Hull, Quebec just minutes from downtown Ottawa. TITLE QUEST marks the fifth MMA event delivered by Freedom Fight Productions to the Ottawa / Hull area and this event promises to be the most explosive and exciting show to date. Fans will see 3 Freedom Fight title fights plus a series of contender bouts to determine who will fight for titles at future Freedom Fight events.

In addition to the crowning of 3 Freedom Fight champions we will see the MMA debut of Much Music personality Robin Black. Robin’s quest to become a pro MMA fighter was documented on his hit show on Much Music which concluded with an open audition and contract signing with Freedom Fight owner Pete Rodley. He will step into the dog pound on July 26 when he faces life long martial artists Chris THE PITBULL Myra.

If that isn’t enough, Former CFL and WWE superstar Glenn Kulka will venture into the MMA world as he faces the rugged Wayne X- MAN Xilon in a super heavyweight battle. Kulka has hinted many times on his sports radio show (Team 1200 in Ottawa) that he wanted to challenge himself in a MMA fight and when he contacted Freedom Fight it wasn’t difficult to see that this was the place to make it happen. Xilon is 1-1 and has punching power that not many men possess. The X-Man plans to show Kulka the harsh reality of MMA combat while the CFL and WWF vet is confident that his athletic background will enable him to pound his way to victory.

Motard earned this fight after his dominant win over SHOWTIME at Freedom Fight 2007. A Sambo and MMA instructor for Ottawa’s FIT MMA club, Motard plans to use his combat experience to bring home the belt. He faces THE SURVIVOR who brings to Freedom Fight many years of MMA experience including a win over former Freedom Fighter Dan Grandmaison and the highly touted Cory Mcdonald. Beaulieu represents the famed BTT Canada camp in Montreal and is coming to Freedom Fight to claim victory.

MARK “BOOTS” HOLST vs. KRIS “STORM SHADOW” DONALDSON

Boots worked his way to his shot at the title with 2 consecutive Thai clinics that left their opponents bleeding and helpless. A Thai Fighting coach at the Ottawa Academy of Martial Arts, Holst is prepared for war and sees the result being much like his past Freedom Fights. Storm Shadow is also coming off an impressive victory and has been making waves in the Thai fighting world for quite some time. Donaldson is training full time at Xtreme Couture’s Toronto club and says he is training hard to overwhelm his opponent and become Freedom Fights first 155 pound champion. Both athletes often complain that promoters can’t find them someone who will actually stand and trade strikes but in Freedom Fight they will both get their wish.

ANDRE “MAJOR” DESROCIERS vs. ILYA WORONOWSKI

MAJOR Desrociers is the first Canadian Military Major to compete in MMA and with back to back knock out wins he has proven to be a force in the Freedom Fight ring. He will face fellow undefeated heavyweight Ilya Woronowski who fights under the TAPSTAR banner. Expect fireworks when these 2 giants battle for the title of “king of the Freedom Fight big boys”!

As always, Freedom Fight will provide tons of excitement within the local community. Already planned for July 25th is the official event weigh - in at the HARD ROCK CAFÉ in Ottawa.
