This two time Gemini nominee is a force to be reckoned with. Nominated for best comedy performance, this sharp-tongued comedian takes no prisoners. He can take a one-word answer and turn it into a fifteen-minute farce. He's smart, funny and his improv skills are considered among the best.

Ian's stand-up ranges from: observational, to self-deprecating, to one-liners and always with the audience in mind. "People want to be part of the show and it's my job to do that, but never at anyone's expense. It's all in good fun and everyone leaves with a smile on his or her face."

If there's a club, hall, bar or basement that need jokes, Larry XL is ready to rock the house. Larry XL's sarcastic style has made him a favorite with audiences from Florida to Canada.

He's been a finalist in comedy competitions in his native Baltimore and neighboring cities like Washington, DC and Philadelphia. Soon after he started performing in area clubs, Larry XL recorded a concert CD with the DC Standup All-Stars, 2004's DC Standup vs. Earth and later his own live CD, 2005's The City That Bleeds.

He then hit the road performing in some of the nation's best comedy clubs (and anywhere else with electricity) opening for the likes of Bobby Slayton, John Witherspoon, Jim Florentine and Charlie Murphy.

Not of this earth or simply full of fudge: you decide. Direct from Brantford, Ontario, he'll have you convicted and healed all at once.

"This Brantford-born stand-up scores high on the squirmability scale as he, uttering a barrage of expletives, takes us willingly down the dark corridors, dysfunctional families, female midgets and Slobodan Milosevic. Frost is crude, rude and marvelously maniacal" - Toronto Star Nov 2002

"If you've ever wanted to see what it's like to use a nuclear weapon to swat a fly" check out theseriouscomedysite.com He is uniquely eccentric and one of the reigning kings of "way-out" comedy. A man whose sole purpose is to "slam a stapler against the forehead of popular culture.

" Darren thrives on hyper-driving criticisms, dark revelation and lunacy. His ability to command the undivided attention of an audience is remarkable.
