Wreck MMA is excited to announce several key fights for the upcoming event on April 20th at the Casino Lac Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec. In a battle of two elite strikers, Wreck MMA: Road to Glory will be headlined by two UFC veterans as Ottawa's own Mark 'Boots' Holst will take on Gideon Ray. Allyson Smith has been tickling Canada's comedy scene from the moment she put down the chalk brush and picked up a mic. With her sassy blend of in-your-face stand-up and hilariously insightful commentary, playing to packed rooms is just another day at the office for this former high-school teacher, whose credits include CTV's Comedy Now, MuchMusic's Video on Trial, CBC's The Debaters, the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and just about everywhere in between.
Rick Currie has been making Canadians laugh for over two decades now. If you haven't seen his stand up live, you've probably heard many of the jokes he's written for Just for Laughsdifferent CBC Radio programs including "Madly off In all Directions", "DNTO" and "The Debaters". Rick is currently a member of the writing team for CBC's "The Rick Mercer Report". He's has been showcased at the Just for Laughs, Winnipeg and St. John Comedy Festivals and is looking forward to the Ha!lifax Festival in April 2012.

Winston Spear is a unique comedian with a deep deadpan delivery who has been called the King of the Obscure. Although his slightly disturbed sensibility makes him a sure-fire hit, there is a certain charisma that endears Winston Spear to audiences of all ages when he performs.
Winston was a a semi finalist for NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2008 and Winner of the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Stand-up Comic. Winston has been performing in comedy clubs and festivals throughout North America for more than two decades. In fact, comedy once took him to the United Arab Emirates to perform He's appeared a number of times at the Just for Laughs Festival in Toronto and Montreal, the Vancouver International Comedy Festival, and the Halifax Comedy Festival.
