“Best of” readers’ poll, following an intense year of touring;
a recent broadcast of a TV special on which he performed, and an appearance
at last year’s Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He was also named
the number seven Best Local Actor… one spot ahead of Donald Sutherland…

How does one describe a comic like Slade Ham without using the typical words
like aggressive, hilarious, improvisational, and truthful? Those words are tossed
around too easily in the comedy world. Watching Slade’s show is somewhat
