and Performance Program and won the college's Best First Year Stand-Up Award
in 2004. In 2005, Jeff won the prestigious "Tim Sims Encouragement Award"
and followed that up by winning "Yuk Yuk's $25,000 Great Canadian Laugh
Off." in 2006 and “Best Stand-Up Newcomer” at the 2007 Canadian
Comedy Awards. Currently the youngest performer touring for Yuk Yuk's, Jeff
has already appeared at the "Halifax Comedy Festival", the "Winnipeg

winning and two time nominated comedian Doug Funk is a seasoned performer with
a fresh and contagious style, whose entertainment background has molded him
into one the most funny, thought provoking and versatile comics in the country.
Doug
Funk has four consecutive seasons on the Comedy Network to his credit, five
seasons on the Global Network, two appearances on the very successful "Air
Bud" movies (IV & V), countless TV commercials and hundreds of "Live"
performances in every nook and cranny of the country.
When
Doug Funk performed at CBC's Halifax Comedy Festival; comedian/ actor Kevin
Pollak (A Few Good Men, Grumpy Old Men, The Wedding Planner, The Unusual Suspects,
Whole Nine Yards) called him the funniest comedian at the festival and told
him how much he enjoyed Doug's material.

Love
him or hate him, it’s impossible to be indifferent to Phil Shuchat. Actually,
it’s impossible to hate him. And it’s more likely that you will
fall under his comedic spell. But indifference is out of the question.
From
LA to Montreal, from Vancouver to New York, (he’s bi-coastal, but please
don’t tell his mom) Phil has been performing to slack jawed (by his own
doing) crowds, amazed that so much energy comes from such a small spark plug.
Phil’s humor is universally quirky; able to reach everyone, but making
them look at the world through his own off kilter line of sight.
He
has multiple appearances at the Just For Laughs Festival, on The Comedy Network’s
Comedy at Club 54, in Filmguard’s critically acclaimed feature, The Heist,
and so much more. His first CD, Animated, was released in 2006, and continues
to garner both rave reviews and repeated airings (in whole and in part) on XM
Satellite Radio. Phil
has established a reputation as one of Canada’s funniest and fastest rising
stars.
