Wreck MMA is excited to announce that their next event will take place on October 28th at the Casino Lac Leamy in Gatineau, Quebec. The event, which will once again be part of The Score Fighting Series, will be headlined by the highly anticipated bout for the Wreck Welterweight Title between Ottawa's own Nabil 'The Thrill' Khatib and Thunder Bay's Nathan Gunn.

Des rires en francais - Derek has been named to the top ten funniest stand-up comedians in the Montreal Mirror’s “Best of” readers’ poll since 2006 but he has fans from coast to coast in Canada. Following an intense year of touring, a recent broadcast of a CBC / Just for Laughs TV special, a few TV spots in French, as well as over a dozen appearances on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters”, Derek has really come to the forefront when it comes to Canadian comedy.
Joe Minnitte is currently plotting the assassination of all reality shows except for the biggest loser. There is nothing funnier than fat people crying on television as they run 10 feet. I get it. I also wrote a great sitcom based on my life called "Poor Joe," that is hysterical, but people would rather watch some wannabe chef have to make a gourmet meal out of some old shoes and an onion. The sitcom died as soon as I wrote the script, which is ironic considering the script is about how everything goes wrong for me. What has this world come to? Flav-O-Flav, Bret Michaels, Dancing with the Stars...Most of the time I need people to tell me which one is the star and which one is the dancer.
They use the term "Star" a bit loose is all I'm saying. I know what you're saying; "This isn't the usual Joe Minnitte burst on the comedy scene" type of biography. We all know that's horse crap anyway. We all know who is actually writing the bio. Me baby. So I'll let you assume that I have nothing but good things to say about myself. I've moved on from writing in the third person. I've worked with most of the great comedians of our time, but does that make me funny. Nope. So I'll let you decide. I know you'll make the right decision.

Darcy Michael is considered one of Canada’s rising stars. Coming off his wildly successful debut at the prestigious Just for Laughs festival in Montreal, where the Montreal Gazette pegged him as one of their favorites; Darcy went on to film his first national stand up special for CTV and The Comedy Network which aired in June 2010. Darcy was also featured on a pre-taped segment for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Shortly after Darcy filmed a Gala set for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival in which he was nominated for a 2010 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Televised Performance. April 2010 saw Darcy featured as one of the final 8 in the Comedy Networks Great Canadian Laugh Off. In the fall of 2008 he recorded his first CD in conjunction with XM Radio called: “You’re Gay Now.”
