Pirate Radio is an ensemble comedy from filmmaker Richard Curtis , about a seafaring
band of rogue rock and roll deejays whose “pirate radio” captivated

the group boldly and hilariously defies the government that tries to shut them
down.

Brendan
McKeigan made his start performing improv comedy in Sudbury, Ontario. After
performing and teaching improv for seven years, Brendan McKeigan made the move
to Toronto to pursue Stand Up Comedy. Seven months later Brendan was nominated
for an Allan Guttman Award for Best New Stand Up Comic. Within a year of his
first nomination he was nominated for the Mike Myers Award for outstanding comedic
performance.
Most recently his act won him a performance at Montreal's coveted Just For Laughs
“Homegrown Comic Competition,” where he received rave reviews from
the audience and his peers. He is also the headliner of the Rise of the Comics
Comedy Tour, performing across Canada.
Brendan's high energy, clever joke telling and creative analogies about mistakes,
drinking and women prove this point and leave your cheeks hurting for the rest
