Terry
performs stand up comedy all over the world. He has
been everywhere from the deserts of the Middle East
to the Alert Station at the North Pole, performing in
every situation imaginable. He has shared the stage
of the 3000+ seat Hummingbird Centre with Stephen Wright,
played to a packed house at Massey Hall, and has performed
to the Canadian, German, Dutch, and American Forces
in Military hangers at various "undisclosed"
locations as well as hundreds of Corporations.
Wherever
he is and whomever he is standing in front of, he can
make them laugh. ??On top of his varied television credits,
Terry also has a long list of voice credits in the world
of animation including Little Bear, Medabots, Atomic
Betty, Pandalian, Wayside School and Totally Spies.
He is currently a writer and the voice of Jonesy on
the Teletoon network's award winning animation series
6Teen. |

Derick Lengwenus emerged onto the Montreal comedy scene
in 1999 and immediately attracted attention. In 2001
he earned his first spot in the prestigious Just For
Laughs Festival where his style was described as clever
writing with a quick left turn into absurdity.
While
stand-up comedy has been the focus of Derick's career,
he has earned many accolades for his acting performances.
Among his highlights include appearances in the Montreal
Fringe Festival, the New York Film Festival, and the
Montreal Film Festival. In 2003, Derick created a one-man
show blending theatre with live streaming video and
premiered it in the New Media Festival in Halifax. |

For
almost four years, stand-up comic and actor Sam Easton
had no fixed address, phone, or e-mail. When the struggling
actor’s agent needed to get hold of him, she’d
have to call all his buddies.
His
stand-up career started with a bang, though. After dropping
out of York University, the Vancouver-born and -raised
funnyman took the comedy course at Toronto’s Humber
College, winning the Phil Hartman Comedy Award for best
student in 2000. The judge for the competition was Saturday
Night Live creator Lorne Michaels and the presenter
of the prize was SNL alum Dan Aykroyd. He followed this
up with a nomination for the Tim Sims Award, named for
the late T.O. comic, that same year. But awards don’t
pay the bills.
No
matter what success may come his way on the big screen,
Easton isn’t going to forget where he started
out. “Stand-up brought me to the dance. And standup
is the reason why I booked all these roles. I would
never go down to L.A. and say, ‘Oh, I’m
an actor.’ My stand-up’s what makes me different.”
