"BROTHERS
tells the powerful story of two siblings, thirty-something Captain Sam Cahill
(Tobey Maguire) and younger brother Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal), who are
polar opposites. A Marine about to embark on his fourth tour of duty, Sam is
a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, Grace (Natalie
Portman), with whom he has two young daughters (Bailee Madison, Taylor Grace
Geare). Tommy, his younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s
always gotten by on wit and charm.

Reveling
in English so broken it borders on a speech impediment, Derek Seguin is as funny
for how he says what he’s saying when he says it as he is for what he
says while he’s saying how he said it. (take your time...) He radiates
a charming optimism even as the universe rains crap down all around him, making
audiences care about his victories, his defeats, and everything in between.
He has wrapped roles in five independent films in the past 12 months, starred
in two critically acclaimed plays within 9 months of each other with another
(Sex & La Cité – Part Deux) opening June 18th 2006.
Derek has been performing his standup act throughout eastern Canada, making
several private and corporate appearances as well and last summer, he made his
first appearance in the Montreal Comedy Festival Just For Laughs where he also
recorded a comedy special for the CBC (Canadian Broadcast Company)which aired
in '06. For the first time, show business is his full-time job… and he
is showing no signs of looking back as demand for his appearances has increased
ten-fold.

Since
starting out in Pittsburgh in 1998, Jesse Joyce has gone on to perform in 13
countries on 4 continents - from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia - as well as becoming
a fixture on the New York comedy scene. He's appeared in numerous tv shows,
theatrical productions, films, comedy festivals, syndicated radio shows, comedy
clubs, once performed on the back of a pick-up truck for 400 drunk prison guards
in a field in Altoona at 2 in the afternoon, and he's an award winning writer.
He attributes his comic instincts to growing up with his entertaining family.
By following the example of his Uncle Michael, a former clown in the Ringling
Bros.& Barnum and Bailey Circus and his great uncles, founders of the International
Juggling Association, Joyce developed his own unique brand of comic charisma
without throwing or balancing stuff or getting in or out of a tiny car.
