Allyson Smith has been tickling Canada’s comedy scene from the moment she put down the chalk brush and picked up a mic. With her sassy blend of in-your-face stand-up and hilariously insightful commentary, playing to packed rooms is just another day at the office for this former high-school teacher, whose credits include CTV’s Comedy Now, MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, CBC’s The Debaters, the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and just about everywhere in between.

Despite emerging as one of Canada’s rising stand-up stars, Allyson has remained true to her talent show roots. Her down-to-earth nature and girl-next-door approachability have earned her the respect and friendship of fans and fellow comics alike. When she isn’t smiling in the spotlight, you’ll find her growing Canadian comedy from behind the scenes, hosting open mic nights, yammering with virgins or sniffing out dicey rooms that could use a few laughs.

While not really being the pride of anywhere, Harry Doupe was born and raised in the quaint town of Fort Langley, British Columbia (the first capital of the province). An award winning comic and writer, he began his comedy career in Vancouver, choosing the December 7th date for his first show carefully - "I figured no matter how badly I bombed.... historically it would be greatly overshadowed". Over the next few years, he developed a reputation as one of the country's hardest working comics, spending 46 weeks on the road in 1986 alone.

As a live act, Harry continued to develop, and put together an extensive resume that includes clubs, community halls, theatres and arenas all across Canada and the United States. Some of the dates of note include EXPO 86, the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, 1995 Grey Cup in Regina, and the Tragically Hips' Another Roadside Attraction at Molson Park in Barrie. He was also the first comedian to play Toronto's Air Canada Centre three times, appearing once with Weird Al Yankovic, and twice with the Tragically Hip.

Comedian, master of ceremonies, radio broadcaster, and Dj - in everything he touches, Frank “Trixx” Agyemang is a natural entertainer. Charismatic, savagely funny, and possessing seemingly boundless energy, Trixx’s talent lies in knowing exactly when and where to push boundaries and establish new limits.

Whether he's wreaking pop culture havoc as one of the jurors on Much Music's Video On Trial, playing his various roles on Much Music's Stars Gone Wild as “Kofi” (the African furniture store owner), touring the world as a Dj, or hosting some of Toronto’s biggest concerts, Trixx appeals to people of all ages, sexes, and religions. Armed with a sardonic, biting wit, his style is immediately engaging . Nothing, and yet everything is sacred to this avid student of popular culture. His animated on-stage character is complimented by a strong business sense and understanding of corporate responsibility; and his main objective is to entertain and inform whatever audience stands before him.
