This
high energy performance comedian draws heavily from his working class roots; Pete
Zedlacher mixes New York cool with northern Canadian wackiness.
Pete has made numerous film and television appearances, including CBC's The Sean
Cullen Show and Little Mosque On The Prairie, Puppets Who Kill, and CTV's Sue
Thomas F.B.Eye, and Degrassi: The Next Generation. Most recently, Pete shot a
role in the film American Pie Presents: "The Naked Mile."
Pete
has released DVD entitled Pete Zedlacher: The Humourist which can be purchased
through his website at www.zedlacher.com.
Considered
one of Canada's premiere club comics, selling out across the country, Pete is
a force of nature when it comes to stand-up comedy.
Paul
was raised as a sports fanatic in the tiny town of Owego, in upstate New York.
After four years of playing college basketball, somehow he graduated. Aside from
playing in the NBA, his dream job was to talk about sports for a living. Paul
then moved to California after landing a television sports anchor job but found
out quickly that he was “too much of a smart-ass” for TV news.
After he was fired, Paul took his unique sense of humor to comedy club stages
all over the country. In
2005, Paul was selected to perform at the HBO Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. Morrissey
has also been a finalist in several national comedy competitions including Wendy’s
Comedy Challenge, Comedy Central’s Open Mic Fight and Maxim’s Real
Men of Comedy.
Scott Faulconbridge was nominated for a 2009 Canadian Comedy Award as Best Male
Stand up. Hilarious story telling and improvisational wit have led
critics to claim that he is “among the best stand-up comedians on the continent”.
He began his career as a member of one of Canada’s
most popular and acclaimed improv troupes, On the Spot, two-time Canadian Comedy
Award nominee for Best Improv Troupe. Scott then combined his unique improvisational
stage presence with a witty observational style in an act that has toured all
over North American
and the U.K.
His stand-up appearances and specials have appeared on NBC, CTV and CBC. Scott
has appeared at Just for Laughs five times as a stand-up, working with such acts
as Chris Rock, Penn and Teller, Bill Maher and Richard Lewis. Scott has toured
Canada several times, most notably as a part of the Lipton Just For Laughs Comedy
Tour in 2004, as well as the Investors Group Comedy Tour in 2006.
