Darryl Lenox will share his insightful and intelligent brand of comedy with audiences across the United States with the premiere of his one-hour special, Blind Ambition, on Starz with the first airing on November 10th on Starz Comedy.
Living with a visual impairment has refined his perspective further, allowing him to cut through audience preconceptions, discard self-pity, and deliver pitch-perfect repartee that leave audiences spellbound and sore from laughter. His popularity has seen a meteoric rise both North of the 49th Parallel, and with his first one-hour special set to air on Starz, Darryl doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
Don't let Sam Demaris fool you. He's black, but he in no way does "black" comedy. Sam is an amazing storyteller with a universal appeal. When you're watching him, you never know what to expect. His performances are very fast-paced, very high-energy and will often leave audiences wondering, "Did he just say what I think he said?" Sam started his comedy career in 2001 and in 2002; he took home the gold in the "Houston's Funniest Person" competition in which he beat out a total of 65 other comedic hopefuls.
In 2010, he teamed up with three other Houston comedians and joined the infamous Whiskey Brothers. Since then, Sam has gone on to do countless gigs across the United States including the Maxim Magazine Real Men of Comedy tour as well as tours of Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrian, Djibouti, and South Korea to perform for the United States Armed Forces. If he's anywhere near you, you definitely have to see this guy!
