Unite for Brian’s Fight that will take place on Friday April 16th, 2010
at the Robert Guertin Arena in Gatineau, Quebec.
After a rocky-like Wreck debut, Ronin MMA's Nick 'The Ninja of Love' Denis will
now be headlining the event against Team Quest standout Ian 'The Barn Owl' Loveland
for the Wreck Bantamweight Title. Denis is coming off an impressive come from
behind victory against Sean Quinn and is looking to bring his world class talent
to the ultra-exciting Loveland. A teammate of Chael Sonnen (#1 contender for
the UFC Milddleweight Title) Loveland loves to stand and bang and recently won
his fifth straight fight by knocking out UFC veteran Doug Evans with a head
kick. The winner of this bout will be the first ever champion in Wreck history!

was recently named the fourth funniest stand-up comedian in the Montreal Mirror’s
“Best of” readers’ poll following an intense year of touring,
a recent broadcast of a TV special he performed on and an appearance at last
year’s Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. He was also named the number
7 Best Local Actor… one spot ahead of Donald Sutherland… well, we’re
not sure about that but, look for his star to continue rising.
In 2007, he appeared at the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Global Vancouver
comedy Festival, The Grand Rire du Québec Comedy Festival and the first
ever Prince Edward island Comedy Festival… it was a festive year and he’s
off to do the Halifax Festival in 2008 where he’ll be taping some shows
for television.

Slim
is a comedy natural and a MUST see for those who like their comedy with a subtle
dose of reality! One of North America's top storytellers, Slim's sage like humor
has a youthful twist that is both brutally honest and seriously funny . The
Louisiana born Texas native began her comedy career in Houston, TX at the legendary
Laff Stop Comedy Club in 1999. The Houston comedy scene at that time was noted
for developing comics who would boldly take on risky material that others would
desperately avoid, and Slim is no exception.
Recanting her own true life reality check, Slim onstage is a ball of freewheeling,
good-humored energy that is physical and expressive, covering subjects that
range from cultural and social mishaps to things you wish you would have said,
and things you wish you didn't. Rising quickly through the comedy circuit, Slim
became a nationally touring comic in 2001 and was an international headliner
by 2004.
She was featured in the comedy documentaries "The Circuit" and "Red,

Allyson Smith has been tickling Canada’s comedy scene from the moment
she put down the chalk brush and picked up a mic. With her sassy blend of in-your-face
stand-up and hilariously insightful commentary, playing to packed rooms is just
another day at the office for this former high-school teacher, whose credits
include CTV’s Comedy Now, MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, CBC’s
The Debaters, the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and just about
everywhere in between.
As a young‘un, Allyson knew she was weird. While other little girls were
flailing around in baggy ballet leotards, she was introducing her fellow sixth
graders to power of a perfectly timed punch line. As talent shows grew into
theatre and sketch comedy, Allyson’s calling became clear: she was going
to make people laugh. And laugh they did.
A natural born entertainer with the pipes to prove it, Allyson was soon leaving
locals laugh-drunk in sketchy bars across the prairies. No room was too seedy
for Miss Smith. Today, the “embarrassingly varied” teacher-cum-comic
is a sought-after fan favourite, headlining shows from coast to coast and popping
up in living rooms wherever there’s a cable signal…often uninvited
