Darryl Lenox is judge, jury, and executioner when he takes the stage, and he presides over the courtroom of comedy with authority. The result: insightful, incisive, and always authentic comic justice that punishes the absurdity of the everyday with a life sentence of laughter without parole.

Ironically Lenox entered the world of stand-up on a dare, but he has never looked back. After a friend challenged him to stop talking and start living, he entered an open mic competition in Seattle and the rest is history. Admittedly, his first set wasn’t exactly flawless, but it did plant a seed that would grow into lifelong obsession. Lenox embraced his gift, fought hard and people began to talk. Seizing every opportunity, Darryl won more and more stage time throughout the Northwest and revealed the beginnings of a world-class stand-up career. Before long he had earned a well deserved place in the world of professional stand-up comedy by capitalizing on his keen sense of observation and uncanny knack for energizing an audience. Life outside of Nova Scotia is difficult for Andrew to understand. From the silly to the socially relevant, nothing escapes this sarcastic Maritimers look at big city and pop culture absurdities. Shortly after moving from Dartmouth in late 2001, Andrew made an appearance on Open Mic with Mike Bullard where Mike likened him to Don Harron. Ben Guyatt of Comedy at Club 54 fame says, Andrew has a fresh approach to comedy-combining the absurd with the cerebral, always resulting in a great solid setI truly believe he will become a major, comedic force in the years ahead. Andrew digs deep to make the mundane fascinating, and the complicated, simple.

It is a style making him accessible to both the audiences at the Tim Sims Playhouse in Toronto, and a neighborhood pub in Halifax. After winning the Laugh Resorts funniest person with a day job competition in Toronto, Andrew was invited to perform for the first time at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. Nick Beaton hails from Cape Breton Island on the East Coast of Canada. Like many before him, Nick is following in the great tradition of Canada’s Maritime comedians. Nick takes sharp jabs at social and political issues; his ridicule and mockery are often compared to such luminary comedians such as Rick Mercer and Jon Stewart. Nick is considered to be one of the top young comics working in Canada.

He has wooed audiences in Hollywood, performing with some of the top comics in the world. Nick performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and taped a segment on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. As well, he has made a number of televisions and radio appearances including CBC Radio and Much Music’s number one rated show “Video On Trial”.

Nick’s quick wit and edgy opinions often generate loads of laughter and he is a fan favourite at many clubs. Nick’s machine gun joke style keeps audiences in stitches and sometimes gasping for air.
